Easy Curves

Easy Curves 1

Learn how to sew curves in this simple Melon Block pattern. It is not as hard as it looks!

Class Description:

This is a three hour technique class. We will not be finishing a quilt top. You will learn how to cut curved shapes using templates and a rotary cutter, set the curved seams, and sew perfect curves and points :)

Only two fabrics are needed for the blocks, preferably  non-directional ones. A feature fabric and a matching blender works well. Depending on how big you want your final quilt to be, you will need between 1 and 2 meters of each of these fabrics.

Basic patchwork/quilting skills required.

Welcome Back!

Welcome back to all of you who have been away for the summer! A few of us were still here for the long haul and got some quilting done, but now we are gearing up for another fun year of quilting!

Our Sunday morning Sit 'n' Sews are back in full swing! You are welcome to join us anytime between 10 and 1pm to sew, chat, buy fabric, or just have a cuppa :)

We will be at Ishbilia Coffee Mornings once a month as we were last year, so on that Sunday the shop will be closed.

We are also planning new classes, so keep an eye out for some fun!
